How To Change Your Bose Ear Pads?

If your ear pads have deteriorated in any way over your time, you’ve probably asked yourself whether it’s possible to change your Bose ear pads. If you’ve asked yourself this, you’ve probably wondered how to change your Bose ear pads.

Bose headphones use a ‘clip system’ and all you need to detach your old ear pads from your headset are your fingers. Begin at the top of bottom of the ear pad by pulling the ear pad away from the ear cup and this section should pop out. The clips run all along the ear cup.

To attach the new ear pad you will firstly need to locate the discreet groove that runs around it. Secondly, begin to slide the first clip into the groove. Thirdly, apply some pressure and it will “click” into place. Continue this with each side of the ear pad and you’re done. The last few clips may be a bit harder to click into place but it simply is a case of just pressing your new ear pad.
