The first step to this repair is to remove your existing ear pads. In order to do so you just need to insert your tool into the gap between the ear pad and the ear cup directly towards the ear cup and then once your all the way in you're going to angle your tool away from the headset.

Repeat this with the other ear pad.

Due to the design of the headphones when you place the headset down with the ears facing up, the right hand ear cup will be on your left and visa versa. You'll need to identify this so you can apply the correct ear pad as there is a slight difference between the left and right side.

On both left and right ear pad you will identify the top and bottom by the position of the hooks. On the top of each ear pad the hook at the top is positioned central whereas the hook on the bottom is positioned to the left of centre.

You can now identify the left between the right by what we will call the 'prongs'. As well as 6 hooks on your replacement ear pad, there are also two 'prongs'. On the right hand side ear cup which I'll be fitting first the 'prong' on the left hand side should be lower than the 'prong' on the right hand side whereas all the hooks are in the exact same position on both ear pads. This will be the opposite on the left ear pad.

Now that you have your ear pads organised you can go ahead and replace the inner cushion first. These also have a left and a right and can be identified simply be matching the shape of the ear cup and see whether it fits or not.

Now it's time to apply the main part of the ear pad. You can do so by positioning your ear pad over the ear cup and begin by applying pressure firstly to where the very top hook is position and then continue around the ear pad. You'll audibly hear each hook click into place. You can gently pull at your ear pad to make sure that all of the hooks are in place.

Repeat this both ear pads and that's the repair complete, it's as easy as that. No tools necessary, just a replacement set of ear pads
